Reuniting People On Issues Rather Than Relations!

Political campaigns and elections have become a source of divisiveness and corruption in our families, clans, communities, State, and even our nation. On one hand it has become standard practice among many incumbent legislators to use government funds to buy votes. On the other hand, we citizens have readily accepted such handouts with utter disregard for the future of our children. We must advocate for an attitudinal and structural reform in our election and campaign practices in the outer islands to rebuild our sense of pride in ourselves as a people and our ability to rise above corruption.

Action Strategies:
  • Run an open campaign by publishing online and on paper the full extend of the platform to help educate people on the issues and necessary actions to resolve those needs. Encourage other candidates to do the same.
  • Make no personal attacks on other candidates by focusing only on facts to help the voters make informed decisions on their candidates. Encourage other candidates to do the same.
  • Conduct the highest level of ethical campaign strategies which focus on clearly articulated needs in the outer islands and strategies to address those needs. Encourage other candidates to do the same.
  • Make no promise to individual benefits but focus on what is the common good of the outer islands. Encourage other candidates to do the same.
